ABOUT ME
Beichen graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a double major in biomedical engineering. Although she has lived in many places, she considers herself a true Pittsburgher. She joined the Gebbie group in the fall of 2019. Outside of academics, she enjoys trying new foods, reading, and attempting (and often failing at) various arts and crafts projects.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Beichen’s primary research interests are in electrochemistry and its uses in sustainable engineering. She is eager to pursue projects involving ionic liquids and their applications in catalysis and energy storage.
